Three, Two, One, Action

Hey Blog, I'm back again. So, after our main male actor finally arrived, we began getting ready to start filming. Since he was late, we filmed scene 6, where the main female character (Chantae) and the friend of the main character (Leila) are sitting and talking about Chantae's crush. I began calculating how long the scenes should be so we only recorded a little or little. The scene we began recording was 4 seconds long. When our male characters came, we went to the outside of the park to film scene 1. Then, while we were still outside, we recorded scenes 2,3 and 7. Through our recording, I was calculating how long each scene should be. Leila, our female side character, helped a lot by giving us suggestions on different camera angles. For example, using a close-up in scene 7 and an over-the-shoulder shot for the swing scene. We also used a point-of-view shot in scene 9. She also showed us that using cinema would have focused better on each person's face, giving us better quality. When we began recording, Kaydiane began setting up the lights from her ring light to give us the best camera angle. I got all the props needed for our indoor scene.

There were some lip-syncing scenes where I needed to play the sound in the background for our actor to lip-sync at the right time. We also needed her to sing the right words so they would match while we were editing. Finally, it was time for our last scene. Chantae Avione, our main female and male characters had to change into their following costumes. Avione wanted to be out Chantae to open the door where he would hand her flowers for their date. We began recording this part with Chantae in her room getting ready. She then walked outside and opened the door and we did another over-the-shoulder shot of her receiving the flowers.
