Making New Friends

 During this project, I've met a lot of new cool people. Kaudiane did tell me she wanted to work together since the first day of school which was great because I haven't really been social in school this year. So, if we couldn't work together this project would've been hard for me to find a partner. You could work together as well but that would have been hard for me because I would have had to find actors by myself. I would've also had to edit by myself and my editing skills are not the best as you heard about from my first project. Then I just would've had a much heavier workload and with being a multisport athlete and student that would've been hard. This project led to me making a really good friend named Chatae. She was our main female actor. She's also on my basketball team and this project helped us build the chemistry we need for the season. Kaydine also introduced me to Avione who seems really cool and a fun person to be around. He also plays basketball at Saint Thomas University so he helps me with new moves. Basically, all the new people I've met not only helped me finish this project but are not great friends I have. I'm very grateful for them and this project was very much needed for me mentally and socially. I haven't left my house in months unless it was for sports, school, or, food occasionally. So being able to go out meet new people and have fun was something I definitely loved about this project. anyway enough with me yapping away I hope you enjoyed this blog but most importantly how are you doing mentally. Reshoot Planning

Reshoot The second day we were editing we began to look over all the camera angles we originally planned to include. We were missing three: a shot reverse shot, an establishing shot, and a low angle. For the shot reserve shot, we planned to have Keron and Christel arguing to get Keron's pov of the agreement. For the establishing shot, we wanted to show the friends pulling into the drive and showing around the house as they ate pulling in. For the Low angle, we wanted to record Cgristel's reaction as she opened the box and took out the note. Then we discussed a date to reshoot. We added all our actors to a group chat and told them we had to reshoot and why. We also told them to wear the same exact clothes. We told them the date and time we needed them and Kaydiane's house. Editing Part 2& Adding Music

Today we first started looking at different effects, Then as we were looking for places we were going to incorporate non-diegetic sounds. Then we went on an AI sound-generating website to find typing noises, but none sounded good. So then we began looking for sound effects within the Flimora app.  Kaydiane then recorded herself typing and we uploaded the sound to the beginning of the film which was perfect. We went on YouTube and searched for no copyrighted music. After a long search for instrumentals, we finally found one. Our film was really coming together. The problem came when we needed the movie to fade out for Keron's comment and the crickets. It just didn't flow. We then went on YouTube again to extract cricket sound effects that we liked better. We also split the sounds so certain background sounds fight in their respective scenes for what was going on in the scenes. Reshoot

 The day came to reshoot.  I was late. That was really bad coming from me especially since I was like everyone needs to make sure they're on time but I wasn't on time it was for a situation like this I wanted everyone there at 4. Foruntainntally for me, I wasn't the only one late. I had to get my hair done. Chatae went shopping. Isabella lives all the way in Hollywood and her parents had an emergency before they dropped her off. Fortunately, we were all there by 6: 20 and began filming at 6:47. Before filming we blew some ballons because we had ballons the last time we filmed. Then we wrapped some boxes to look likes gifts so our scenes were as identical as possible from the last time.  We turned on the house light outside and everyone got ready for our new scene. In this scene, we wanted to add an establishing shot so we drove into the parking lot and Kaydiane so turned to show us around the house.  We then rerecorded Christel opening up the mystery box.
